Job Opening: Church Receptionist
Full-Time Position 40 Hours a Week
Position Summary
The Church Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors, parishioners, and callers to the parish office, providing a warm, professional, and welcoming presence. This role supports the daily administrative functions of the parish by managing front-desk operations, scheduling, and communication. The Receptionist ensures smooth coordination between parish departments and assists with clerical tasks that contribute to the efficient functioning of the parish office.
Primary Responsibilities
Front Desk and Communication
Answer incoming phone calls, provide accurate information, and direct calls to the appropriate staff or department.
Greet and assist parishioners and visitors in a friendly and helpful manner.
Respond to general inquiries via phone, email, or in person, providing excellent customer service.
Scheduling and Administrative Support
Manage room reservations and distribute keys for parish facilities.
Record Mass intentions and collect related payments, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
Add events and meetings to the parish calendar, coordinating with staff to avoid conflicts.
Preferred Credentials
Bilingual English-Spanish
